After taking a long break from the blog (time flies!), here is an update on what we have been up to...
There was little snow this year even though it was a cold winter by DC standards. We had a day of snow which turned to ice.
Here are some pictures of a little Inauguration themed potluck at our place where everyone had to come with an inauguration themed dish. Adrienne made a ham that was tasty (Barack O[ham]ma)... Here's a picture of us and the rind of fat - go figure!
We also had a fun Chinese New Year potluck with many of our Chinese friends.
Last but not least, I had a special Valentine's Day today! It is an over-rated day, but nonetheless, its wonderful to be able to spend it with people you love.

Eugene and I went to our fav Japanese restaurant and had a big meal... I then got a surprise treat!!
