Hay-on-Wye: Cute name! It is the week of the Hay festival, which is a big literary festival. It was fun walking around this town. Apparently, this little town, bordering Wales and England, has the largest number of second hand bookstores in the world.
From summit to shore: Pembrokeshire Coast
We did an 8 mile walk on the Pembrokeshire coastal trail which spans 188 miles. The cliffs, caves, inlets and bays were spectacular as was the trail. The trails in the UK are interesting in that the National Trust essentially created this trail through negotiations with farmers to allow part of their land to be used for this public trail.
We are on our way back to London now to see friends. Phew - it has been a good active few days!
