Five years ago, we got married.
Five years ago, we came to DC.
Five years ago, we began to call this foreign place home.
Five years ago, we made many new friends.

Five years, ago, we joined a church called Capitol Hill Baptist Church.

Five years ago, we made a vow before the Lord, to share God's purposes for our lives together till death us do part.

Five years later, we are still here.
Five years later, we are going to have a baby.

Five years later, Eugene and I are still in love.

Five years later, God has sustained every moment of our lives and continues to do so.
Five years later, we pray that God will guide us in the paths ahead.
