Cheryl's Visit

My good friend Cheryl visited us from new York today!  She painstakingly carried on board her bus journey here, the most AMAZING macarons from Bouchon Bakery in New York City.  Perfect macarons are the measure of a good french bakery.  We sampled several different flavors and they were so good-- crisp on the outside, chewy and soft inside.

We took a long walk on the mall and it was gorgeous!
