We love spring. This is the time of the year when the cold dreary winter gives way to magnificent colors of flowers bursting out in full force. One of our favorite walks is at the Arboretum, at this time of the year, when the Azaleas are in full bloom. It is just breath taking! One of the things that Eugene and I do almost every year is to visit the Franciscan Monastery's annual plant sale--we did that again this year--to begin the planting season at the Low home... and we came home with some wonderful flowers and herbs. There is nothing like fresh herbs for the kitchen. We are also teaching little Zachary to love the outdoor world that the Lord has created in all its splendor.
The world is best viewed upside down...
