Eugene and I had a fun trip back home. Food was certainly a prominant feature of our visit.. we had an amazing array of local foods and fruits to last us for a while. Mangosteens, durian, Tau Kwa Bao, popia, rojak, chicken rice, peranakan food, thai food etc.. This place certainly lives up to its reputation as a food paradise with food stalls at every corner and open literally all the time. Prices of food have also remained very low. Everything here seems cheap when we think in terms of US$!
We also spent time with dear friends and family. Well, until next time...
