We drove back from Deep Creek lake on Sunday in the depths of snow and gusty winds. Within minutes of driving, we found ourselves stuck in a ditch and unable to get the car out. Being inexperienced in driving in snow, i had no idea what one would do! As Eugene got out of the car, Li, Zachary and I prayed for God's protection. At that moment, the most providential thing happened... A truck drove past and the guy in the truck said he was going to go home to get the chains to pull us out of the ditch.. Within minutes he was back. And soon enough, we were dragged out of the snow ditch. Eugene thanked the man and asked for his name. He said his name was Anthony, and he was doing this for Jesus. Unbelievable. Unbelievable that we would meet a fellow christian who would help us in our time of need. We marveled at the Lord's kindness and praised His name. What a reminder that our God answers prayers.
