Easter Weekend

We spent our first Easter in Singapore in years!  We missed the traditional ham (believe me I tried to find one and it was so expensive you would think ham was some gourmet meat rather than something from a pig)... but we were so thankful for new friends to share resurrection day with!  We had Easter crepes brunch instead...

We got to hang out and learn about what God was doing in the lives of some of our care group members... and to pray for them!  What a blessing it was.  To know that we our sins have been crucified with Christ and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us.  We have also been resurrected with him to new life and we need to live differently as members of Christ's family. 

I had grand plans to start all these new fun Easter traditions with zachary, and baking hot cross buns....but I only made it as far as explaining the gospel with easter eggs... Maybe next year...
