It is a month of baby showers, bridal showers, new babies and weddings.
I was at 2 baby showers this month - Julie-Anne's and Janet's shower. We had so much fun sharing and praying for them as they prepare for BABY Day! It is such a joy to share and witness these transitions in people's lives as it brings so much anticipation and wonder. It is special to be part of that time in a friend's life when she is embarking on a new adventure!
It was also nice to hear from the more experienced mums how they have coped with bringing up their children in the knowledge of the Lord. What a responsibility it is! But the Lord equips us well with His word, reminding us to teach our children to love the Lord with all our hearts minds and soul.
The new birth of a child never fails to turn our hearts and minds to the Creator who has so intricately designed each one from the formation in the womb to the personalities that they grow into. Can there be a more marvellous thing? Who can fathom such a complex mystery?
I cannot wait to see how the new babies look like when they are born!
